Package Handler
We are looking for Package Handlers to join our team. Package Handlers are responsible for loading, unloading, and sorting packages by hand in a safe and efficient manner. They may be assigned to various positions such as Loader, Unloader, Palletizer, and more.
Responsibilities:
Utilize hand-to-surface methods for package handling
Load and unload packages onto vehicles, trailers, and conveyor systems
Lift, carry, push, and pull packages continuously
Sort packages based on scanning, labels, and charts
Perform other assigned duties
Specialized Assignments:
Package Handler Trainer: Train other Package Handlers on loading, unloading, and scanning techniques
Package Handler - Air: Conduct package inspection process to ensure air-restricted packages are not loaded
Requirements:
No education or experience required
Ability to follow instructions and safety measures
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Must be able to lift and carry between 5 and 50 pounds
Job Conditions:
Work in hot and cold temperatures
Work in a noisy environment
No travel required
