I'm looking for an Accounting and Payroll Technician for my client in Jean-Talon on the island of Montreal. This is a permanent 40h contract, in hybrid mode 2 days of telecommuting).

Your responsibilities:

- Supervise and review supplier invoice entry.
- Open and monitor new supplier accounts.
- Fixed asset management: coding, accounting entry
- Preparation and updating of reports (Excel) to monitor operating and capital expenditure
expenses
- Participation in year-end accounting work
- Complete payroll cycle including T4, R1, W2 for our sites in Canada and the USA
- Collection of payroll variables
- Payroll processing with Paycor and Employer D
- Update time and salary analysis reports
- Manage head office group insurance
- Participation in improvement projects
- Any other related task within this context
Your profile:

- Professional degree in accounting or DEC in accounting
- Minimum three years' experience in a similar position;
- Knowledge of Sage X3, Paycor and Employer D (an asset),
- Mastery of Office suite software, more specifically Excel;
- Bilingualism;
- Discretion and attention to detail
- Autonomy and resourcefulness;
- Proactive attitude
