Marketing Manager

CAD $110-125K + 15% bonus and excellent benefits package

Niagara Falls, Ontario – relocation assistance available if required.

Please note that candidates will need to share their marketing portfolio if shortlisted for this role.

To be successful in this role:
You will be a confident Marketing Manager with experience in e-commerce, brand management (specifically social and PR), digital marketing, and Google analytics / SEO. You will also have experience with email marketing and come from a B2C Consumer Goods background.

Other requirements for this role include:
Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or related field
5 years experience leading teams with direct reports (at least 3 at a coordinator level or above) including creating annual team performance reviews
7+ years of digital brand management experience
Previous experience leading social media, public relations, and content
Experience with social media analytics platforms
Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Job role and responsibilities:
This is a very data driven position and heavy on leadership. As the Marketing Manager you will have 7-8 direct reports and be the most senior level marketing team member. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring the marketing department, including establishing and implementing processes to algin strategies and responsibilities across e-commerce, design and brand marketing.

Other responsibilities for this role include:
Developing and managing the annual department budget
Driving the development, implementation, and execution of marketing plans for several different brands
Overseeing key goals in sales, brand marketing and content across all marketing channels
Guiding brand strategy and alignment
Managing and negotiating with 3rd parties and managing the relationships with public relations agencies, influencers, etc
Tracking, and optimizing the effectiveness and impact of marketing initiatives
Planning and executing digital marketing campaigns (paid advertising, email marketing, social media)
Formulating and executing strategies to increase brand awareness through content marketing and enhancing Google ranking
Utilizing SEO strategies to enhance organic search rankings and drive relevant traffic
Developing customer engagement strategies to enhance brand loyalty, increase customer lifetime value and encourage word of mouth traffic
Monitoring and analyzing KPIs related to online sales, website traffic, conversion rates and customer acquisition cost
This role is 20% project based, 80-% leadership and working with the team on their goals
