ROLE: ELECTRICAL DESIGNER
LOCATION: CALGARY or GRANDE PRAIRIE, ALBERTA

Rheaume Engineering Inc. is seeking a part-time Electrical Designer to join our team.

What you’ll do:
Design electrical systems prepare 2D and 3D technical drawings
Prepare complete and accurate engineering drawing sets, including:
Single line and wiring diagrams/schematics
Heat-trace schedules, layouts, and isometrics
Lighting panel schedules, equipment layouts, and area classifications
3D models, plot plans, P&IDs
Collaborate with and support project managers and engineers
Maintain accurate and organized drawing files within existing file structure
Manage assigned tasks and deadlines
Report to the Drafting Lead

Who you are:
3+ years of Western Canada oil and gas project experience
Post-secondary CAD training
Knowledge of CAD programs such as: AutoCAD, CADWorx, ProCAD and Navisworks
Hard worker, detailed oriented, problem solver
Ability to work on multiple project deadlines simultaneously
Effective communicator: both written and oral
Adaptable to fluctuating hours and workload, driven by project needs
Ability to work on multiple project deadlines simultaneously

Compensation:
Either employee or contractor status may be considered for this role. Rheaume has a competitive, multi-faceted compensation plan including a competitive hourly rate based on experience and education, health and dental benefits, and RRSP matching.
