Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Underwriter Assistant to join our client's team of Commercial Property Underwriters. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the underwriting process by gathering essential data, preparing documents, and ensuring accurate documentation of underwriting decisions. If you’re technically savvy, proficient with internal systems, and have a knack for using MS Excel effectively, we encourage you to apply

Responsibilities:
Data Gathering : Retrieve relevant information from various internal systems, databases, and external sources.
Document Preparation : Create and organize documents based on the gathered data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Collaboration : Work closely with the Underwriting Team to provide them with the necessary information for documenting underwriting decisions.
Technical Proficiency : Utilize internal systems efficiently and demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and presentation.
Attention to Detail : Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established guidelines.
Time Management : Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and contribute to the team’s success.

Qualifications:
Experience : 3+ years of experience as an underwriting assistant supporting commercial property underwriters .

Technical Skills :
Proficiency in using internal systems and databases.
Strong command of MS Excel for data manipulation and reporting.

Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Team Player : Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a team.
Adaptability : Willingness to learn and adapt to changing requirements.
Attention to Detail : A meticulous approach to data handling and document preparation.
