Financial security advisor, Life and health insurance Join to apply for the Financial security advisor, Life and health insurance role at Desjardins As a life and health insurance financial security advisor, you help serve, prospect for, solicit, and develop and maintain business relationships with members and clients. You sell life and health insurance products and services through multiple distribution channels based on member/client needs and current strategies. Your focus areas include individual insurance, group insurance and retirement savings plans, insurance brokerage, segregated funds, and travel and life and health insurance claims settlement. You promote and sell financial security products and services to individual and business clients, analyze member/client needs, and recommend personalized solutions. The ability to communicate effectively and thoroughly understand clients’ expressed needs is essential. You balance sales objectives, prudent risk management, profitability, and member/client satisfaction, and you maintain relationships with important clients who have complex, diverse needs. Your work requires extensive knowledge of your line of business; you advise and assist current and potential members and clients, represent Desjardins in agreements, negotiate product and service terms, and demonstrate interpersonal savvy.
