Equity Research Analyst Base pay range: $90.00/hr – $100.00/hr Location: Remote Contract duration: 2 months Commitment: 10–15 hours per week Role: Financial Analysis Expert About The Job Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. Role Responsibilities Interpret and analyze company financial statements and disclosures. Cross‑reference narrative sections with quantitative data for comprehensive insights. Calculate key financial metrics such as YoY revenue growth to assess performance. Identify and explain primary drivers of financial performance. Deliver concise written analyses aligned with AI training goals. Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, equity research, or consulting. Strong proficiency in financial modeling and accounting principles. Expertise in interpreting 10‑K/10‑Q filings and MD&A sections. Excellent analytical and written communication skills. Comfort working independently with minimal guidance.
