Wholesale and Retail Buyers role at Mercor Overview Mercor is recruiting Wholesale and Retail Buyers as independent contractors working on a research project for one of the world’s top AI companies. The project involves using your professional experience to design questions related to your occupation as a Wholesale and Retail Buyer (except for farm products). Requirements Have 4+ years full‑time work experience as a Wholesale and Retail Buyer; Be based in the US, UK, or Canada. Role Details We aim to make the hourly compensation rate competitive based on your professional background and geographic location. (Note that the listed hourly compensation scale is for U.S.-based applicants and will differ for other locations.) The work is fully asynchronous and can be done around your schedule. The project requires a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week. We currently estimate that this project will last through the end of 2025 and possibly longer. The estimate is subject to change, but if this listing is still up, the project is still running. You will need access to a desktop or laptop computer for this project. We cannot accept applicants who use Chromebook computers. Compensation and Legal Status We can meet industry‑standard compensation expectations for your current role. Payment will be made weekly via Stripe Connect based on the number of project work hours logged. You will be classified as an “at‑will” contractor to Mercor. We cannot currently support H1‑B or STEM OPT status candidates.
