OverviewThis role is for one of the Weekday's clients. We are seeking experienced Legal professionals to collaborate with a leading AI research lab on an innovative project. The role involves enhancing advanced AI systems by designing legal questions, evaluating AI-generated responses, and solving domain-specific legal problems. This initiative is central to improving AI's understanding and performance in the legal domain.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and review high-quality legal questions and evaluation setsAssess AI-generated legal responses for accuracy, clarity, and quality of reasoningSolve complex legal problems to benchmark AI system performanceSynthesize legal information from multiple sources into structured formatsProvide detailed feedback to guide AI alignment with legal standardsQualificationsAdvanced legal education or credentials (LL.M., J.D., S.J.D., or Ph.D. in Law) from a top university, preferably in the United StatesStrong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize information from diverse legal sourcesExceptional written communication skills and attention to detailPreferred but not required: prior experience practicing law or working in the legal industryLocation: Must be based in the US, UK, Canada, or AustraliaProject timelineStart Date: ImmediateDuration: 4 weeksCommitment: Part-time, 20+ hours/weekSchedule: Fully remote and asynchronous - work on your own scheduleCompensation & ContractCompetitive hourly rate: $90-$110 USD/hr (based on experience)Weekly performance bonuses: $20-$100/hr in addition to base payIndependent contractor roleDaily payments via Stripe Connect #J-18808-Ljbffr
