Role Overview Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Engineering Manager’s main responsibilities are to improve processes to maintain efficiency, reliability, reduce costs and improve sustainability while providing guidance for the plant’s engineering priorities. Responsibilities Provide guidance on process engineering priorities within the plant (molds). Evaluate manufacturing strategies for new products. Oversee the launch of new products. Identify and implement best practices. Monitor and guide priorities related to processes and molds. Provide customer support regarding product performance and/or specification development. Ensure food safety within the process engineering department. Support additional company objectives as needed or directed. Define future human resource and equipment needs. Conduct daily follow-up of activities in the production workshop to ensure goals, quality standards and safety protocols are met. Assist the Director of Operations with the plant’s medium- and long-term vision. Perform any other related tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the department and/or plant. Qualifications Engineering or technical degree, or equivalent training/experience. Experience in supervision and leadership. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or engineering. Fluent in both English and French (spoken and written).
