Reporting to the Managing Director of Corporate Affairs, the Senior Manager of Corporate Communications will lead high-impact initiatives that strengthen KPMG’s culture, brand and employee experience. The Senior Manager is responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership and implementation of internal communications that inform, engage and support KPMG’s Partners and employees across Canada. This is a strategic and hands‑on role. The successful candidate will bring their 10+ years of communications leadership experience to develop innovative and impactful communications strategies, while also rolling up their sleeves to help execute. What You Will Do Work with the Corporate Affairs team leaders to develop communications strategies that support firm-wide priorities. Work with key stakeholders across the business to identify emerging internal communication needs, innovating and adapting accordingly. Lead communications for national Clients and Markets and People programs and initiatives that drive engagement and support our brand strategy. Collaborate across the business to solve communications challenges and align messaging with firm priorities. Bring fresh ideas and best practices to elevate our communication approach. Mentor and lead a high-performing team, fostering growth and accountability. Represent the Canadian firm in global meetings, sharing updates on internal communications in the People and workplace space. What You Bring To The Role A communications professional with 10+ years of experience leading communications in large and/or matrix organizations. Experience working directly with C-suite on firm-wide communications plans. Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field. Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex messages. Excellent project management skills to balance multiple priorities and stakeholder expectations / business demands. Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to work with numerous stakeholders to achieve objectives. Understanding the professional services environment and a matrixed organization is a significant asset. A strategic and creative mindset to foster a culture of innovation and experimentation. A positive, solution-oriented approach with an ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. A desire to contribute to, champion and foster our amazing, highly engaged and high-performing team culture. Proficiency in English at a business level is required. This position requires written and oral fluency in English. The successful candidate may be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking colleagues or stakeholders while at KPMG. KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information The expected base salary range for this position is $104,000 to $156,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications.
