MEI Schools Facility and Grounds Maintenance Worker 40 hours/week continuing appointment MEI Schools is looking for a Facilities and Grounds Maintenance Worker to come learn and grow as part of our facilities team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities and grounds to ensure they remain safe, clean, and functional for our students and staff. Your duties will include performing routine inspections, addressing maintenance issues promptly, some landscaping tasks as well as minor repairs and upkeep of equipment. Additionally, you'll collaborate with team members on larger projects and contribute to maintaining a positive learning and working environment for our students, staff, and visitors.

This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive yet flexible approach to maintenance tasks. The successful candidate must possess a class 5 driver's license and be comfortable operating company vehicles (including a tractor). Lifting heavy objects, working on ladders and rooftops, and operating a variety of power tools are a requirement of the job. Previous experience in building maintenance or the trades is preferred.

This position will remain open until filled with the first interviews to take place the week of May 20th.
