They diagnose and fix problems with machinery, often working on individual components or systems, and are responsible for keeping machinery running smoothly, including regular maintenance checks.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform predictive preventative maintenance of equipment, manufacturing machinery and machine shop equipment and tools.Perform preventative maintenance on tools with hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic systems.Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment system faults, ensure adequate control and safety measures are working and enforced. Enlist OEM as required.Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production, and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.Support maintenance and operational needs.
