Hydro Project Engineer

RESPONSABILITIES•
Ensures effective coordination between engineering, construction, and project controls groups; •
Organizes and facilitates meetings regarding technical activities and design reviews;•
Ensures stakeholders interpret the technical specification and expectations correctly;•
Defines the technical strategy and the supply plan in collaboration with the Project Manager and the Procurement Department;•
Participates in the selection, negotiations and technical discussions of the main suppliers and sub-contractors ;•
Responsible for making sure engineering deliverables and supply deliveries are made on-time and according to established quality criteria for all systems related to their projects; •
Follows-up on Non-Conformances and Change Management with the customer and engineering;•
In collaboration with the Project Manager, analyzes, defines and implements a contingency plan to correct any issues or deviations that can have an impact on their projects. Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering;•
Certified member of the O.I.Q.;•
Experience in the fields of hydroelectricity, energy producing equipment or related design and manufacturing activities;•
Proven leadership and experience in technical coordination of engineering activities and subcontracting;•
