Responsibilities:

  • Repair work including sizing rings, rhodium plating, repairing chains, retipping claws, re-shank rings, tightening diamonds
  • Competent to work with platinum, gold, and silver metals
  • Cleaning, and polishing of many types of jewellery
  • Coordinating with suppliers for manufacturing and designing
  • Maintain stock/reorder stock as required for findings & supplies
  • Setting diamonds and other precious stones – rings, earrings, etc.
  • Soldering and desolderingchains
  • Experience with many shapes/claws styles
  • Custom design experience is an asset
  • Repair a specific amountof jobs within a deadline from Retail team members and Head Office
  • Collaborative with Retail team members on goldsmith advice and repair advice

Requirements:

  • Minimum5-10 yearsexperience in the trade
  • Experience working with laser welder
  • Familiar with computer-aided design
  • Fingers dexterity
  • Artistic abilities
  • Must be able to work independently and take initiative
  • Maintain a consistent level of care and attention to detail
  • A professional work ethic and be able to demonstrate an exceptional understanding of customer service
  • Completed high school or equivalent education
  • You must be eligible to work in Canada
  • Maintain a professional work ethic and professionalism when communicating with Retail team members and Head Office
  • Be able to stay on-time with a regular work schedule
