The Manufacturing Technician - Cartridge Assembly role at Bio-Techne focuses on the assembly of cartridges and sub‑assemblies for cutting‑edge life‑science research tools. Pay Range: $20.00 – $23.65 per hour. Position Summary The qualified individual will be responsible for various aspects of product assembly and testing. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to assemble and use complex instruments and assemblies. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Key Responsibilities Visually inspect, assemble and test cartridges or sub‑assemblies using approved assembly procedures. Follow all work instructions and procedures and record all production information as required. Use a computer to perform tests, download information or record test data. Work with a microscope for extended periods of time. Use and maintain hand tools and various types of equipment to assemble and test cartridges. Have good hand‑eye coordination and stable hands for delicate component assembly. Comply with gowning protocols as required and maintain a clean, orderly, and organized work area. Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Attention to detail. Good written and oral communication skills. Experience working with Gas Chromatography (GC) columns or microfluidics assembly a plus. Experience in electronic or medical device assembly a plus.
