Primary Function

Design, develop and implement front-end code supporting the customer experience within Rogers.com and Care/Retail agents. Consume state of the art web services to create user interface interactions that delight and inspire the user. Create visually attractive and functionally effective user interfaces by understanding all the use cases, their relative weights, and applying creative thinking and advanced techniques.

Job Responsibilities

  • Frontend development using Angular 9+, HTML, CSS, SASS/SCSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, Ngrx, Rxjs, Bootstrap, Ajax methods
  • Working in a small team with a startup mentality, writing high quality reusable code
  • Comfortable recommending technical solutions to a development and business audience.
  • Collaborating with other development teams to support business on day to day development requests
  • Innovating and testing out new solutions through POCs and iterative releases
  • Interpreting business requirements into technical solutions
  • Preparing documentation and use case scenarios when required

Requirements

  • A university degree in computer science or equivalent education
  • Proficient in HTML5, TypeScript, CSS, SASS/SCSS, Bootstrap
  • 5+ years of experience with Angular framework,Ngrx, Rxjs, RESTful Web Services and experience with API integration
  • Experience with CMS - Contentful, Accessibility - WCAG 2.0+ , Adobe Analytics
  • Write the unit testing
  • Experience with cross browser compatibility
  • Flexible and adaptive, team player
  • Excellent analytical communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize work and well organized
  • Ability to take ownership on the deliverables
  • Comfortable working with market driven timelines
