We are seeking a Senior Biologist to join our Environmental Permitting & Management (EP&M) Team. This is a senior level role preferably based out of our Calgary or Saskatoon offices. Other office locations across the Prairies may be considered.As a Senior Biologist you will lead and support biological assessment, monitoring, reporting and field-based surveys across a wide variety of energy and infrastructure projects. You must have strong work experience in biological sciences, and specialization in either wildlife biology, vegetation or aquatic biology. You will be a key member of the team reinforcing our reputation for technical excellence, working collaboratively and delivering innovative work mostly across our infrastructure, power, and renewables client portfolios.Location: Calgary or Saskatoon offices. Edmonton, Regina, or Winnipeg could be considered as well.Your role within the teamDevelop and deliver technical studies in support of EIA and other work including technical advice to clients and colleagues on legislation, regulation or policy.Provide leadership through mentoring and guidance to support career development.Design and implement field programs for the collection of baseline data, guide research, author key reports, as well as provide senior technical reviews.Provide client and stakeholder engagement with government agencies, Indigenous communities and interest groups, through presentations, workshops and publications.You will contribute to the overall strategic development of EP&M, including technical excellence, growth, profitability and business development.
