Job Title: Finishing Superintendent

If so, we've got an opportunity that's tailor-made for your expertise taking projects to the finish line The Finishing Superintendent will play a crucial role in overseeing the completion and finalization phase of construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be managing the finishing aspects of our projects, ensuring they meet or exceed industry standards, specifications, and are completed on time and within budget.


Salary Range: $100,000 to $140,000


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Completion Oversight:
    • Supervise and coordinate the finishing phase of construction projects.
    • Ensure the timely and high-quality completion of interior and exterior finishes, including but not limited to drywall, flooring, painting, and trim work.
  2. Quality Assurance:
    • Implement and maintain strict quality control measures for finishing work.
    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
  3. Team Management:
    • Lead and manage a team of finishing contractors and subcontractors.
    • Foster a collaborative and safety-focused work environment.
  4. Communication:
    • Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
    • Provide regular progress updates to the project team and upper management.
  5. Problem Solving:
    • Identify and address any issues or challenges related to finishing work promptly.
    • Collaborate with other superintendents and project managers to find efficient solutions.

Qualifications:

  • 1-5 years of proven experience as a Finishing Superintendent, with high-rise experience being preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of finishing processes and materials.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
