Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing & Communications, you'll own the complete design lifecycle—from initial concept to post-launch optimization—across both mobile and desktop applications.Working with our passionate, fast-paced team, you'll leverage cutting-edge tools including generative AI to create intuitive, user-centered experiences. This role offers the unique opportunity to drive human-centered design while contributing to Ziing's modern tech stack evolution.You'll collaborate directly with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to transform user research into compelling product experiences that serve both our driver partners and the businesses they support.What You Will Do:Partner with stakeholders to develop product strategies, design roadmaps, and success metrics.Define and communicate product vision, value propositions, and user experience goals.Maintain and manage product and design backlogs with product management.UX Research & DesignPlan and conduct usability research (e.g., interviews, walkthroughs, surveys, focus groups).Analyze data and user behaviour to generate actionable insights and design recommendations.Develop user personas, journeys, and experience maps to guide design decisions.Translate research into detailed design requirements and functional specifications.Interface & Experience DesignCreate wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity mock-ups, and interactive prototypes.Design user-friendly, accessible interfaces for mobile (iOS & Android) and desktop platforms.Ensure all design work meets WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with developers, QA, product managers, and other designers to implement and validate solutions.Contribute to product discovery, feature definition, and go-to-market strategies.Champion design thinking across the organization and facilitate collaborative workshops when needed.Design Operations & InnovationKeep up with industry trends, tools, and technologies — including AI-centric design considerations.Contribute to the design system and maintain design consistency across products.Define and track UX KPIs to measure design success and inform iterative improvements.What You Bring:3–5 years of experience in Product or UX Design in a technology-driven environment.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite).Proven experience designing for both mobile (iOS/Android) and desktop/web environments.Strong understanding of user-centred design, design thinking, and accessibility standards.Experience conducting and applying findings from usability testing and UX research.Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively in cross-functional teams.Comfortable working in agile teams using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.Nice to Have:Experience with motion design, animation, or micro-interactions.Background in consulting or experience in client-facing design projects.Familiarity with using AI tools in design, such as generative UI creation or predictive UX analytics.We offer a competitive Total Compensation package, including $1,200 annual cell phone allowance, 20+ Days of Paid Time Off, Modern Group Benefit Program, and more.Ziing is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
