This position will report to the Switchgear Business Unit General Manager. Job Responsibilities: Beresponsibleforallsupplychainrelatedactivities,includingbutnotlimitedtorevenueplanning,sourcing,purchasing(includingMRO),productionscheduling,materialsplanning,warehousing,andshipping&logisticsthroughtheRegalBusinessSystem(RBS). Leadbydevelopingshort-andlong-termobjectives,executedailymanagementactivitiesandimplementcorrectiveactionsforinternalandexternalcustomers. DeployandimplementLeanmaterialmanagementprocessessuchasKanban,pullsystems,Min-Max,consignment,inventorymodeling,dailycyclecounting,JIT,andMRP. Maintainsupplierdatabase,purchaserecords,itemparameters,andrelateddocuments. ManagesupplierqualitythroughtheThomsonPowerSystemQMStomeetcustomerqualitystandardsandspecifications. Preparecostestimatesandmanagebudgets. Recruit,coach,andretaintoptalentstocreateaworkforcethatsupportstheintegratedsupplychainmodel. Planandmanagedemandrequirements(currentandfuture)withmanufacturingandsupplierstomeetcustomerdeliveryexpectations. Proactivelydrivethecultureofzerosafetyincidentforthebusiness. Communicatekeysupplychainmetricstorelevantsitepersonnel. Other duties as assigned. AREYOUTHEONE? Basic qualifications: Bachelor'sdegreefromaccreditedinstitutionorequivalentrelatedexperience. 7+ years ofexperienceasaleaderofpeopleinamanufacturingenvironment. Proficientcomputerskills,includingMicrosoftOfficeSuiteandERPplatforms. Stronganalytical,problemsolving,andprojectmanagementskills. Excellentcommunicationskills(verbalandwritten). Strongbusinessfinancialacumen. Abilitytoleadmultipleteamsgeographicallydispersedandmultipleprojects. MustbelegallyauthorizedtoworkinCanadaonanongoingbasiswithoutcompanysponsorship. Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’sdegreeinSupplyChainorEngineering. ProfessionalSupplyChainCertificationssuchasSCMP,APICS-CPIM/CSCPorsimilar. LeanSixSigmaGreenBeltcertification(ortraining)withdemonstratedCIachievements. ExposuretoEngineeredtoOrder(ETO)productsandmanufacturingprocesses. Exposuretomanufacturingofswitchgears,transferswitches,panelboards,orsimilarproducts.
