About This Opportunity

The Project Manager, Engineering manages Product Supply Systems Canada facilities and capital equipment (Machinery & Equipment) projects covering the Richmond facility.

This opportunity is for a 14-Month Maternity Leave Replacement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multi-year projects in the Richmond facility.
  • Develop Projects in collaboration with the Plant and Engineering teams.
  • Development and validation of scope, budget, timeline, and deliverables are heavily emphasized in the planning stages. Scope, budget, and timeline are critical deliverables of the project implementation phases.
  • Provide expertise in equipment, machinery operation, water treatment operations, syrup production, etc. to ensure operating efficiencies at production sites.
  • Create equipment specifications and communicate them to manufacturers.
  • Manage the process for suppliers to be included on the approved supplier list.
  • Participate in bid reviews and vendor selection.
  • Develop a multi-year capital plan for assigned manufacturing facilities in collaboration with the engineering and plant teams.
Qualifications

  • University degree in engineering or a related discipline preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification an asset.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience.
  • Experience in the carbonated beverage industry is considered an asset.
  • 5+ years of operations or maintenance experience preferred.
  • Preferred technical expertise in facilities, processes, and/or machinery utilized in the beverage industry is an asset.
