Job Description What You’ll Do: Reporting to the Director, Project Management Office, the Delivery Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing enterprise software releases across multiple business units and technology platforms. This role ensures successful delivery of releases by aligning with organizational strategy, maintaining release frameworks, and managing dependencies across projects and programs. The incumbent will leverage strong project management skills (Agile and Waterfall) to oversee release cycles, mitigate risks, ensure compliance with IT processes and governance standards. The Delivery Manager builds and maintains trust with stakeholders, fosters collaboration across teams, and ensures that releases are delivered on time, within scope, and with minimal disruption to business operations. Additionally, this role acts as a Scrum Lead, facilitating Agile ceremonies and guiding teams toward high performance and continuous improvement. The Core Parts Of Your Role Will Be To Own the end-to-end release process, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating releases across enterprise systems. Defines and enforces release governance, frameworks, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality. Manages release calendars, dependencies, and resource allocation across multiple projects and environments. Coordinates with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure readiness for deployment. Partners with architecture and operations teams to ensure technical feasibility and operational stability of releases. Oversees risk identification and mitigation strategies for releases, including rollback plans and contingency measures. Ensures compliance with ITIL processes, change management policies, and security standards during release cycles. Supports continuous improvement initiatives for release management and delivery frameworks. Tracks and reports release metrics, providing transparency to leadership and stakeholders. Project & Delivery Management Apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies to manage projects that contribute to release deliverables. Develop integrated release plans aligned with project timelines and organizational priorities. Manages scope, quality, and communication across projects impacting releases. Facilitates release readiness reviews and post-release retrospectives to drive continuous improvement. Agile Leadership & Scrum Facilitation Serves as Scrum Lead for a team contributing to release deliverables. Facilitates all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives while ensuring adherence to Scrum practices and continuous improvement. Removes impediments and fosters a collaborative environment for high-performing teams. Partners with Capability Owners and stakeholders to ensure backlog refinement and prioritization align with release objectives. Qualifications Let’s Talk About You: This is the unique blend of skills and experience we would love to see in an ideal candidate: Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification; Agile certifications (e.g., SAFe, Scrum Master) preferred along with a university degree in a related field. Minimum 5 years’ experience in release management, project management, or IT delivery roles within enterprise environments. Proven experience managing complex release cycles across multiple platforms and technologies. Strong understanding of Enterprise IT processes, governance frameworks, and technology implementation practices. Demonstrated experience facilitating Scrum events and leading Agile teams. Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. The ability to work in an environment where project processes and frameworks are in early stages of maturity. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and multiple dependencies. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage risk effectively. We also consider your potential.
