Founded in 1999, AllRush Print and Apparel is a locally owned full-service Digital and Apparel Graphics communications organization based in Calgary, AB. We have an immediate opening for a Graphic Designer who is Hard working, curious and energetic and wants to learn new skills in our growing business. Responsibilities You are the first step in achieving a client’s vision. Collaborating with our sales department and our clients, use your skills to create and re-design artwork to produce files ready to send to press for a variety of printing methods including offset, digital, wide format and screen printing garments Characteristics that define our team An excellent customer service mindset, for both external and internal clients well organized, detail oriented, and accurate Superb time management skills and the ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced production environment Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal Good problem-solving skills Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning Exceptional teamwork skills What we ask from you Post-secondary training (e.g. SAIT Graphic Communications program) and/or equivalent experience in the print industry required Advanced Experience with Adobe inDesign and Illustrator The desire to hone your skills and learn new technologies 2 year experience working in a commercial printing shop What we pledge to you Competitive compensation to show we value your energy and skills, starting at $18 -$20 per hour and negotiable for the right aspirant. A bonus of $500 at your 1 year employment anniversary.
