Quality Lab Coordinator – Mondelēz International Join to apply for the Quality Lab Coordinator role at Mondelēz International. Job DescriptionYou lead the plan‑do‑check‑act (PDCA) process of the site quality management system and report results to the quality section manager. Your responsibilities include supporting the site’s quality system, internal documentation and change management control, internal audits, effective PDCA cycles and CAPA system management, and management review. You will coordinate the eQCMS bi‑annual review, handle consumer complaints from start to finish, and serve as a key contact for food regulatory agency inspections. Responsibilities Oversee the plant stability program, ensuring appropriate sampling, testing and summary report generation complies with NHP, OTC and Dietary Supplement regulations. Coordinate Lab Instrument Calibration Program as per schedule, follow up on OOS calibration results and lab equipment breakdowns, and ensure all plant calibration records are accurate. Coordinate sampling and scheduling of testing results for raw materials and finished products with external test labs. Create and revise Raw Material and Finished Product Specifications. Create and revise SOP and Test Methods to ensure compliance with local and current regulatory policies. Assist with maintenance and ordering of lab supplies, including managing purchase orders. Support the Quality Department in gathering and summarizing product performance data (e.g., Annual Product Quality Reviews). Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing and affiliates on technical/laboratory information. Support Consumer Complaint investigations as required. Assist the Laboratory and Innovation Supervisor in reviewing and approving raw materials, packaging materials and finished products, and in creating/revising plant floor documents for innovation purposes. Participate within the IL6S pillars and qualify in assigned work processes to help build core team capabilities. When required, perform organoleptic, physical and chemical analyses of raw materials, intermediates and finished products according to established and compendial procedures with minimum supervision. When required, perform raw material and product testing to provide timely action and resolution of manufacturing issues. Work in a safe manner and be aware of potential safety hazards in the department and workplace. Function as part of the operations and quality work teams, providing assistance to other work areas to accomplish necessary functions and projects. Address deviations as required to ensure consumer safety and product quality. Prioritize work for maximum time effectiveness and efficiency, handling multiple situations simultaneously while maintaining detail orientation. Perform duties without direct supervision, functioning as an independent, self‑motivated contributor. Collaborate closely with Operations, Maintenance and Scheduling to troubleshoot potential issues professionally. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Laboratory and Innovation Supervisor. All employees are responsible for compliance with accident prevention and safety compliance programs. Qualifications Relevant experience in a laboratory. Effective teamwork and ability to work efficiently on a team. Flexibility and adaptability to meet customer and business requirements. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Project management experience and ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously. Proficiency with MS Office applications. Previous experience in analytical testing environments. Sound understanding of computers, laboratory drug‑handling systems, statistical methods and quality control. Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices relevant to NHP, OTC and dietary supplements. Self‑motivated, capable of independent work and analytical thinking. Strong customer focus and problem‑solving abilities. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Education Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology or a related discipline. Other Information No relocation support available.
