We also provide a robust pension plan to support your long‑term financial planning and stability.About This RoleAs a Funeral Director at Nisbett Funeral Home, located in Peterborough, Ontario you will have the opportunity to provide meaningful support to families on their end‑of‑life journey by overseeing and directing all aspects of funeral services, including filing death certificates, maintaining online obituary listings, performing decedent embalming and providing assistance during the execution of funeral services.Your opportunity for personal growth as a Funeral Director and as a leader in the funeral profession awaits you here at Arbor Memorial and Nisbett Funeral Home.Job Type: Full Time, PermanentThis is a current vacancy and we are actively recruiting for this role.Key Qualifications And Demonstrated AbilitiesPossesses a Funeral Director’s license.Displays proven, superior arrangement, directing and embalming skills.Passion for customer care demonstrated in previous professional experiences.Self‑motivated with the ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team.Excellent attention to detail and consistently high level of accuracy.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.Demonstrated strong customer service skills with the ability to partner with all levels of the organization.Exemplifies Arbor’s values of compassion, integrity, trust, teamwork, belonging and excellence.Excellent knowledge of Funeral Home procedures and business practices including Funeral Home Procedures Manuals.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Valid driver’s license.ResponsibilitiesArranges, coordinates, and directs funeral ceremonies.Meets and surpasses the needs and expectations of the families we serve.Maintains active involvement within the community and is committed to building and establishing effective relationships and rapport.Supports the Funeral Service Department’s vision of technology integration by understanding the role technology plays in the funeral home’s success.About UsAt Arbor Memorial, your career can mean more.
