This is a unique opportunity to join our team Your job: Provide legal advice and intervene in strategic matters that have a significant impact on the activities, operations and results of National Bank of Canada and its subsidiaries Conduct analysis and research, issue legal opinions, and make recommendations to ensure the development and protection of National Bank of Canada and its subsidiaries Understand the impact of regulatory requirements on the operations of National Bank of Canada and its subsidiaries Improve internal processes and increase institutional knowledge Analyze, interpret and review various reports and legal documents to protect the rights of National Bank of Canada Your team: Being part of the large Legal Affairs team within the Privacy Office means working in a dynamic work environment with colleagues who bring to life the values of complicity, agility and power to act on a daily basis, all in our new, colourful and innovative collaborative spaces. This position reports to a Senior Director, Privacy Sector Our apprenticeship-in-action training programs allow you to master your craft. Customized training content on topics such as artificial intelligence, data and privacy is available to support your continuous learning. Basic requirementsBachelor of Laws and 5 years of experience in one of the following areas of law: artificial intelligence, technology, privacy, governance Member of the Quebec Bar Willingness and ability to learn and contribute in multiple areas of law Experience in the banking industry an asset Possess good judgment and business acumen Propensity to offer efficient and quality service to business partners Proactive, Leadership and Initiative Ability to manage priorities and a large volume of files Experience in a large firm desirable
