Dynacare is currently searching for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our Clinical Development and Quality Assurance team in Kelowna, BC.The Quality Assurance Coordinator is a person who is energized in a lively atmosphere and blends a high degree of technical and regulatory knowledge with a full complement of essential soft skills. The successful candidate is detail oriented, exhibits an optimistic, proactive mindset, demonstrates robust analytical abilities, and brings with them the technical background of a working MLT or person with laboratory experience, functional knowledge of Medical Laboratory regulatory requirements, proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite of products and exceptional verbal and written communication skills.The Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for supporting Quality Management System processes including the analysis and trending of data, staff communications and mentoring, vendor and reference laboratory quality, consultant credentialing, and maintaining some licensing processes.Status : Contract Full Time (12 months)Shift : Day shift Work Style : OnsiteLocation : 105-537LeonAve., Kelowna, BCInternal Posting Deadline : November 13, 2025 at 5 : 00 Why Dynacare is an amazing place for YOU : Join an award-winning "Top Employer" with meaningful and impactful career opportunities Access a health and wellness benefits program that supports you and your loved ones Grow and thrive with a dynamic, successful company through internal mobility opportunities Invest in your future through RRSP match benefits and an employee stock purchase program Experience a collaborative, diverse workforce that prioritizes dignity and respect for all How YOU will make a difference : Support management and analysis of occurrences impacting quality Support national quality systems and programs such as occurrence management, document management, equipment management, and temperature stability studies Lead root cause analysis initiatives Engage and mentor staff in Dynacare quality programs, ensuring regulatory requirements are met and maintained Administrative support for the Quality Assurance team Support laboratory licensing program Support quality program for vendors, referral labs and consultants as assigned Support activities related to external clients as assigned What YOU bring to the role : University education / degree(s) in fields including science or CSMLS Registration as a practicing Medical Laboratory Technologist in good standing preferred Understanding of laboratory operations, as demonstrated through 3 or more years of medical laboratory technical department related experience preferred Demonstratable in-depth, complex data analysis technical skills utilizing Excel Knowledge of Quality Assurance programs, Accreditation standards, audits, and protocols Knowledge of Laboratory Accreditation requirements and processes Knowledge of laboratory operations, processes, and continuous improvement methodologies Technical Skills Understands and promotes principles of the quality management system Manages and prioritizes work using time management skills and techniques Applies great attention to detail Strong problem solving, data analysis / trending, and issues-resolution abilities Demonstrated proficiency of MS Office suite of products Social Process Skills Ability to effectively champion new and updated Quality Management System programs and procedures. Established proficiency in interpersonal skills and techniques, interacting effectively with others and succeeding in and contributing to a collaborative working environment. Demonstrated ability to work independently and apply sound decision-making principles in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills as demonstrated in the ability to engage and support internal clients when rolling out or ensuring compliance with Quality Assurance programs and procedures. Mental effort Operates in a fast-paced setting, managing multiple projects while adapting to shifting priorities and deadlines. Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving abilities Quickly addresses the needs of employees and management, especially in high-pressure situations. Capable of performing effectively under pressure and meeting tight deadlines Working conditions : Normal office / medical laboratory environment Occasional travel may be necessary Starting at $51,200 / annuallyThe hiring pay range has been established; however, the final pay offer will be determined by taking into consideration various factors including but not limited to, level of experience and education requirements.
