IT Procurement

DescriptionThe IT Vendor and Asset Associate is responsible for the daily operational tasks of managing and driving the procurement and asset management strategy within the organization. For vendor management, this includes assisting in the review, negotiation, purchase order creation, renewal or termination of IT contracts and communication with vendors. For asset management, this includes assisting in the management of physical hardware assets.Qualifications1+ years of experience in Asset Management and/or Office Admin responsibilities that might include procurement, service desk, inventory management, and shipping/receiving. IT experience is an asset but not required.Proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Office, and Excel.Work is performed in a standard office environment.Subject to standing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting of objects up to 25 pounds.ResponsibilitiesManage asset management procedures, including asset tagging hardware and inventory controls.Fulfil requests within ticketing system.Analyse and report on large data sets within Excel.Assist in contract process - review and negotiate contracts, amendments, renewals, and terminationsPerform other duties as assigned.EmployerRB Global (NYSE: RBA) (TSX: RBA) is a leading, omnichannel marketplace that provides value-added insights, services and transaction solutions for buyers and sellers of commercial assets and vehicles worldwide.
