Be our next Senior CAD Designer

In this role, you will join the Municipal Infrastructure and Land Development group, based in the Ottawa office.

Utilize Autodesk Civil 3D software to prepare detailed drawings, plans, and models for civil engineering projects including site development, infrastructure and transportation.Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret design concepts and produce accurate technical drawings and documentation.Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including grading plans, drainage designs, and utility layouts.Perform quantity take-offs and assist in cost estimation for project budgets.Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations and company quality control procedures.Support project teams with technical expertise and contribute to project meetings and client presentations.Maintain organized project files and documentation to support project deliverables and revisions.Work under the direction of Senior Staff and mentor junior CAD staff.Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology with 7 to 10 years’ experience with a focus on Autodesk Civil 3D software.Strong computer software skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, Word & Excel.Proficiency in producing detailed drawings and models using Autodesk Civil 3D for civil engineering projects.Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.Ability to interpret engineering designs and specifications accurately.
