A Field Sales Director / Partner is both an owner and a leader of a sales office. This role is designed for someone with solid experience in door-to-door sales and proven ability to manage and scale sales teams. As a director, they are not only responsible for their own office’s performance but also for building a culture of accountability, growth, and results. Core Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management Recruit, train, and develop sales representatives. Lead daily team meetings to set goals and align strategies. Motivate and coach team members to achieve both personal and office-wide targets. Foster a high-performance environment focused on results, integrity, and professionalism. Field Leadership Lead by example by working a minimum of 4 hours daily on the field with the team. Demonstrate best practices in door-to-door sales and customer engagement. Ensure each representative maintains discipline and efficiency in their approach. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for individuals and the office. Track productivity benchmarks such as 60 dispositions per day (minimum customer contacts/attempts). Review daily and weekly results, identifying areas of improvement and implementing corrective actions. Scaling the Sales Office Develop and implement strategies to grow the team’s size and capacity. Create systems for onboarding, training, and promoting new talent. Manage resources, logistics (such as tablets, materials), and compliance. Business Partnership & Ownership As a partner, manage the office operations like a business owner. Oversee budgeting, inventory, and compliance with client standards. Build long-term growth strategies for sustainable team expansion. Qualifications & Prior Experience Required Background: Proven success in door-to-door sales with strong closing skills. Prior experience managing a sales team in a D2D environment. Strong organizational, coaching, and leadership skills. Ability to start their journey with a small team of 2–3 representatives, with a vision to expand. Desired Qualities: Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to run an office as a business. Resilience, discipline, and ability to work in a high-intensity sales environment. Ability to motivate and lead diverse personalities toward a common goal.
