The organization fosters a collaborative and inclusive work environment, where innovation and integrity are valued, and where remotely based employees feel connected to a greater purpose — supporting Canadian athletes and shaping the future of gymnastics PROGRAM DIRECTOR, RYTHMIC GYMNASTICS The Program Director, Rhythmic Gymnastics, will lead the transformation and delivery of Canada’s high performance program for rhythmic gymnastics. Reporting to the Senior Director, High Performance, this role requires a visionary leader who can drive change, influence stakeholders, and build strong alignment across the national system. The Program Director will play a critical role in overhauling the high-performance program – from grassroots development through to elite international performance – ensuring it is athlete-centered, coach‑and‑judge supported, a safe sport best practice and sustainable. The end goal is a robust high-performance system that is capable of Olympic qualification by 2032/6 with Own the Podium financial support. Lead the renewal and modernization of the RG high performance program, aligning with GymCan’s strategic plan. Drive change initiatives with athletes, coaches, judges, and provincial partners (to clubs) to strengthen pathways and performance outcomes. Oversee program governance, technical regulations, and committee processes. Build and maintain trusted relationships with Sport Canada, FIG, and provincial/territorial members. Serve as a credible, influential leader who brings the ecosystem together toward a shared vision. Oversee planning and delivery of domestic and international training camps, competitions, and events. Manage budgets, funding accountability, and logistical support for national team activities. Support and represent GymCan at national and international events, as required. Ensure transparent, timely communication with athletes, coaches, judges and partners. Promote a culture of collaboration, inclusion, safety and excellence within the high-performance team and broader community. WHO YOU ARE Bachelor’s degree, with a specialty in Sport Management or a related field. Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in high performance sport program leadership. Understanding of Rhythmic Gymnastics. Proven track record in change management, program transformation, and influencing diverse stakeholders. Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage budgets and complex projects with competing priorities. Familiarity with the Canadian HP sport system. Bilingualism (English and French) is preferred. LOCATION Position is remotely based in Canada but domestic and limited international travel is required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
