MLOps Architect Location: Toronto, ON Work Mode: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite per week) Duration: Long-term One of our direct banking clients is looking to hire an MLOps Architect to design, build, and maintain a scalable AI platform on AWS, supporting data scientists, developers, and business stakeholders. Responsibilities Build and iterate an evolving ML/AI platform on AWS (SageMaker, ECS, IAM, CloudWatch, S3, etc.). Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the ML Ops solution. Own stakeholder relationships and drive the product roadmap, coordinating across cross‑functional teams. Influence platform users, architects, cloud engineering, DevOps, and other stakeholders. Lead and manage a geographically distributed engineering team, providing technical direction, coaching, and prioritisation. Requirements Proven experience with the end‑to‑end lifecycle of ML Ops / GenAI platform development in the cloud (AWS preferred). Several years of experience in technical product management or cloud platform product leadership. Hands‑on experience with AWS infrastructure, including SageMaker, ECS, IAM, CloudWatch, S3, etc. Experience with infra‑as‑code (e.g., AWS CDK) is a plus. Proficient with GitHub workflows, CI/CD, and version control practices. Strong knowledge of Python and its ecosystem (Jupyter, packaging, documentation).
