Associate Engineer/Scientist

Job type: Full-time | Temporary Hires fast, pays weekly.4% vacation pay paid out on each weekly pay cheque.Medical and dental benefits once qualified.Free training programs.Support interpretation of data and results, conclusions, and noting of Scientific deviations.Support the design and execution of relevant experiments, studies and tests.Understand and comply with applicable EHS policies, procedures, rules and regulations.Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System.Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry or Chemistry or equivalent required.Proven technical, creative, teamwork and implementation skills to contribute to product and process development.Ability to organize experiments, process knowledge and data to invent new methodologies.Judgment and decision-making skills, coordinating and planning skills, ability to work in a multi-task environment and communicate well within cross functional teams.Experience with electrochemical and microfluidic systems is an asset.Experience designing, executing and documenting experiments and studies is an asset.Familiarity with any of the following areas would be an asset: Design Control, Design Transfer, ISO/FDA regulations, Risk management/FMEA methods.Knowledge of math and statistics, good computer skills, including knowledge of SAS JMP/Minitab.
