Reports to: Logistics Manager/Production Supervisor Key Responsibilities Parts and Material Transportation: Transport automotive parts, tools, and materials between production areas and storage areas. Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to support production schedules and minimize downtime. Material Handling and Equipment Use: Load and unload materials onto vehicles, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Inventory and Documentation: Verify part counts, labels, and quality during pick-up and delivery. Maintain accurate records of parts and materials movement in tracking systems. Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with production teams, warehouse staff, and supervisors to prioritize tasks. Respond to urgent requests for parts and materials delivery as required. Support Production Goals: Assist with organizing and maintaining storage areas to ensure easy access to materials. Provide general support to production and logistics teams as needed, including overtime shifts. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent. License: Minimum of a G2 Driver’s License (valid in Ontario). Driving Record: Clean driver’s abstract with no major infractions. Background Check: Clean criminal background check. Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in Canada. Availability: Minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed. Skills And Attributes Dependable: Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility. Safety-Oriented: Committed to following safety protocols and regulations. Team Player: Effective communication and collaboration skills to work well in a fast-paced environment. Detail-Focused: Ensures accuracy in tracking, documentation, and quality assurance. Work Environment Physical Demands: Frequent walking, standing, lifting, and carrying. Conditions: Exposure to indoor and outdoor environments with varying noise levels and temperatures.
