Responsibilities Review terms and conditions of bid documents, contracts (service/maintenance agreements, modernization agreements, new installation/construction agreements), and change orders. Negotiate and approve contract terms with sales representatives and customers. Support TKE projects and initiatives with regulatory, legal, or operational risk implications. Advise departments and customers on contractual rights and obligations. Assist contract administrator with insurance and bond request forms, as needed. Assist Contracts & Risk Management Director and branch representatives in drafting and issuing demand letters to non-paying customers, negotiating settlements of unpaid accounts, and early contract cancellations. Review and revise national agreements, prepare contract review guidance documents, and research legislative updates and industry trends. Handle legal notices of delinquent AR issues and coordinate resolutions with branches. Perform legal research and administrative duties to support Legal, Compliance, Contracts & Risk Administration. Qualifications Post-secondary degree or certificate in law, legal administration, or paralegal studies. 2+ years of experience in contract review and administration, preferably with construction contracts in Canada. Familiarity with legal terminology and ability to interpret legal language. Strong analytical, negotiation, and detail-oriented skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision. Excellent written and oral communication skills and team collaboration ability.
