Job Description: The Addiction Recovery Specialist supports individuals and families experiencing addictions to regain control of their lives through recovery. This role is responsible for decision making and development for standard work for implementation in the Addictions Centre as the storing of confidential files on patients. The Specialist will develop partnerships and work closely with system and community partners.

Experience

  • 3 - 5 years experience in Recovery and Addiction

Education

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in Addiction/Substance Abuse

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
