Company Description Ferrovial Construction Canada Inc. and VINCI Construction Grands Projects are undertaking the design, build, and finance of the Ontario Line Southern Civil, Stations, and Tunnel (South Civil) package. Project Overview The project will strengthen Ontario’s economy and involve: A six‑kilometer tunnel from Exhibition to Don Yard portal. Stations: One above‑ground station integrated with GO Transit Exhibition Station. Two underground stations integrated with TTC Osgoode and Queen subway stations. Four new underground stations: King/Bathurst, Queen/Spadina, Moss Park, Corktown. Benefits to Ontario Improve quality of life by reducing daily travel time. Reduce crowding on Line 1 (Yonge‑University) subway. Provide access to up to 57,000 more jobs within 45 minutes for Toronto residents. Economic and community growth along the transit line with thousands of construction‑site jobs. Lower traffic congestion, greenhouse gases, and fuel consumption. Job Responsibilities Deliver and execute the works schedule across the OLS project. Develop, progress and maintain the works schedule for one or two stations. Progress the baseline schedule by gathering updates and ensuring monthly narratives accurately reflect project status. Prepare monthly schedule works reports with proper use of constraints, activity coding, logic relationships, software settings, calendar usage, and submittal compliance. Modify and maintain a detailed baseline schedule for the stations. Review internal and contractor weekly look‑ahead schedules. Provide support to schedule changes and time‑impact analysis for evidence of time extensions. Support development of MEP and architectural trades schedules at project‑wide level. Work as a team member, contributing to overall program development through group discussions and meetings. Review and read contract language to determine requirements and scheduling. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project or Construction Management. 5+ years experience in scheduling of construction projects. 5+ years experience with Primavera P6. Ability to fully utilize Primavera P6. Experience in developing logical sequencing of work, contract duration and phasing. Experience with Schedule Analyzer, Microsoft Project and TILOS software. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. PMP certification is preferred but not mandatory. Highly organized, detail oriented and able to work consistently at a fast pace on multiple assignments. Excellent interpersonal skills and written and oral communication in English.
