36.8 hours per week -7.45 pm - 8 am As a Care Team Leader in our specialist dementia care home, you will play a pivotal role in leading a compassionate and skilled care team to deliver person‑centred care to residents living with dementia. You will ensure that care practices reflect the highest standards of dignity, respect, and empathy, while fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for both residents and staff. Key Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and mentor care staff during shifts, ensuring high‑quality care delivery Develop and maintain individualised care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals Monitor residents’ physical and emotional wellbeing, responding promptly to changes or concerns Promote best practices in dementia care, including communication techniques and behavioural support Ensure compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding protocols, and internal policies Support new staff through induction and ongoing development Maintain accurate records and documentation Act as a point of contact for families, providing updates and emotional support Person Specification NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) Proven experience within dementia care Strong leadership and communication skills Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for dementia care Please note all applicants must already hold the legal right to work in the UK to apply for this role.
