Essential Duties And Responsibilities Task and project management, including planning and implementing investigation and water treatment or other system design projects, budgeting and budget management, adherence to schedule, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability. Work plan development, data evaluation, and report writing. Process engineering design related to wastewater treatment, system retrofits, and other system analysis. Preparing technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals. Reviewing and managing written document production. Fieldwork including on‑site system assessments, upgrades evaluation, wastewater system troubleshooting, installation and construction management, and commissioning. Management and mentoring of junior staff and managing subcontractors. Preparing for and participating in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties. Business development; including bringing in new clients and obtaining repeat business from existing clients, leading proposal preparation, and developing and implementing a business development plan. Training: This position requires OSHA health and safety, first aid, and CPR training and medical monitoring, paid for by the firm. We also offer professional development opportunities including in‑house seminars, webinars, and mentoring. Fieldwork and overnight travel will also be required. Education and Licensure Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, environmental, or civil engineering. (required) Advanced degree in chemical, mechanical, environmental, or civil engineering. (preferred) Professional registration (i.e., P.Eng.) within provincial guidelines (required). Skills, Experience And Qualifications At least 7 years of experience in water treatment process engineering role, or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required) Experience with multi‑disciplinary project teams. (required) Outstanding track record for client management and technical leadership. (required) Ability to succeed in a fast‑paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed. (required) Valid Canadian driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required) Compensation Minimum Salary: $116,090 Maximum Salary: $150,915 We offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid holidays, vacation, sick and personal paid time off, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
