Your Contribution
As a Civil Designer, you will work in collaboration with the Civil Team
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Prepare and develop the concept, presentation, detailed and tender ready design of various civil engineering projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D, including corridors and surfaces.
- Develop construction quantity and cost estimates, complete with required calculations and evaluations.
- Perform constructability review of projects.
- Analyze data and report on findings.
- Maintain and progress with current industry standards.
- Responsible to advance and understand project requirements related to current development standards, specifications, and guidelines.
- Maintaining and building client relations.
- Meet project budget and deadlines.
- Participate in project and client meetings.
- Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules
Your Profile
- Strong experience in municipal/civil infrastructure design.
- Civil Engineer with a diploma from an accredited university
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be licensed, or eligible for registration with PEGNB
- Previous experience performing site inspection of municipal, transportation, and private engineering projects would be an asset.
- Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety.
- Experience in site development.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years relevant experience post-education.
- Comfortable in expressing new ideas or strategies.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Desire to grow and accept challenges.
- Ability to focus and work on multiple projects.
- Must be able to work in a team environment to accomplish common goals.
- Ability to provide mentorship to junior staff.
- Be motivated by your success and assist in motivating others.
- The following skills will be considered an asset: Proposal writing, Report writing, and Modelling.
- Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety.
