Key Responsibilities- Participate in assessing and defining Retail technology architecture strategies, principles, policies and standards.
- Design, develop and prototype innovative solutions that align with business strategies or solve business problems.
- Develop technical specifications for new products/services, applications and service offerings.
- Analyze the technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
- Lead the analysis of the technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
- Maintain positive relationships with IT and business leaders to effectively promote, advise and communicate the IT architecture value proposition.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting and documentation skills.
- Proven ability to maintain good working relationships with stakeholders including senior leaders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to quickly identify and mitigate problems.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems or equivalent.
- 5-10 years of experience in system architecture, design, development and deployment.
- Hands-on experience with software development and system administration.
- Understanding of strategic IT solutions.
- Experience in project management and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
This role ensures that company enterprise architecture principles and standards are applied in the design and implementation of solutions/applications and technology.
