We are hiring a Co-op, Engineeringstudent to join our Power Production – Hydro, Wind and Solar team in a temporary position (January – August 2026) reporting to the Project Engineering Lead. Key elements of this role include: What you’ll do: Assist plant operations and project managers as needed in various projects including design, RFP creation, ordering materials, and procurement and contract management Assist in the preparation, review, maintenance and approval of Engineering drawings and related documents Gather field information and assist in the preparation of detailed construction and design estimates Provide technical support to field staff. You will be responsible for your personal safety and that of co-workers, by observing and ensuring compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations. You will be accountable for environmental performance as it relates to the environmental management system processes and initiatives. These skills will make you successful: Who you are: The student must be working towards an Engineering degree. The successful candidate must have the following skills: Problem-Solving. Critical Thinking. Basic Electrical Engineering Skills. Enthusiasm for Learning. Communication; Organizational. Working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word) and other computer applications would be an asset. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have the ability to work in a team and/or independently.
