MHI RJ Aviation Group (MHI RJ) provides comprehensive and critical operational, engineering and customer support solutions, including maintenance, refurbishment, technical publications, marketing, and sales activities for the global regional aircraft industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance and support on all matters of Flight Operation/Safety and create an integral link between the MHIRJ Engineering Department and the Airline Operators, its partners, and various agencies.
  • Establish and maintain a strong relationship with Airline Operators.
  • Provide regular operational updates to the Pilot community.
  • Support the Technical Steering Committee (TSC) meetings.
  • Become the Designated MHI RJ Subject Matter Expert (SME), who works very closely with aircraft simulator manufacturers and Authorized Training Providers (ATP) to ensure the highest quality of pilot training and standards are continuously maintained.
  • Support customer visits, on-site pilot briefings, and in-flight monitoring and assessment to assist operators in improving overall operations, fuel efficiency and safety of flight.
  • Visit CRJ operators around the world, conduct pilot briefings, provide in-flight monitoring, and pilot support (as required).
  • Conduct ATP audits to ensure quality of flight training, training materials, and simulators integrity.
Requirements
  • Possess Transport Canada ATP license, with a minimum of 2,500 hours of multi-pilot flight time.
  • Hold a valid class 1 medical certificate.
  • Must have flight experience on the CRJ Series aircraft.
  • Possess previous experience as a Pilot working in an airline environment.
  • Flight test experience is considered an asset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in French is considered an asset.
  • Current type rating on the CRJ Series aircraft (preferred).
  • Experience as a Training Captain / Instructor / Examiner (preferred).
