Overview Engineering Professional, Mechanical Systems Integration Bombardier designs, builds and maintains world-class aircraft, prioritizing employee growth and development. Benefits Insurance plans (Dental, medical, life insurance, disability, and more) Retirement savings plan Employee Assistance Program Responsibilities Work with suppliers on projects related to mechanical systems components on the Global 5500/6500/7500/8000 (Periphery, Cabinets, Window Shades, Water & Waste, Oxygen, ECS, Tables and Door mechanisms, Seats and Divan, Insulation, etc.). Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Projects, Programs, Procurement, Technical, etc.) as well as suppliers for problem solving. Negotiate interfaces with other systems/structures and formalize the agreement on Interface Control Drawings (ICD). Support Program Change Requests (PCR). Coordinate technical integration meetings, analyze, and define technical proposals to meet customer and operation needs. Lead technical meetings with suppliers and deliver quality engineering documentation that meets Bombardier Standards. Chair design reviews and ensure compliance with master regulatory and industry requirements. Ensure system components meet technical and certification requirements. Act as a technical leader and transfer knowledge through coaching/mentoring within the team. Qualifications You have a college or University mechanical or aerospace engineering degree or equivalent with more than ten (10) years of relevant experience. Experience with aircraft interiors and knowledge of Global Aircrafts and Mechanical Systems Integration is an asset. Solid experience with Enovia/Catia and Teamcenter/NX (GSD, Assy, Part Body, Drafting, etc.). Understanding of product structure and aircraft certification. Ability to understand complex engineering issues and demonstrate innovative problem solving. Well organized and project-oriented; self-motivated, able to work under pressure with minimal supervision. Good communication skills, including English writing and verbal skills; French is an asset. Proven track record of meeting commitments.
