Dilawri Group of Companies - BC Region  iscurrently looking to fill the position of an Accounts Payable and Receivable.

Essential Duties (may include all orpart of the following) :

  • Sort, code and enter vendor and manufacturer invoices into CDKsystem.
  • Verify and match invoices to purchase orders.
  • Process bi-weekly on-demand cheques.
  • Process monthly cheque run.
  • Process monthly business office remittances.
  • Reconcile vendor statements, manufacturer statements and creditcard statements.
  • Reconcile electronic transfer payments account.
  • Reconcile sublet and payables schedules.
  • Reconcile all pertaining to AR.
  • Reconcile and proceed daily deposit into CDK system.
  • Follow up with dealership management to ensurethe timely collection of all receivables.
  • Summarize receivables by maintaining invoiceaccounts; coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account;verifying totals; preparing report.
  • Verifies validity of account discrepancies byobtaining and investigating information from sales and service departmentsand from customers.
  • Updates receivables by totaling unpaidinvoices.
  • File and organize office documents.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

All successful applicants mustpossess the following qualities:

  • Have working knowledge of the accounting cycle.
  • Accounts Payable or Receivable related duties.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be extremely organized and detail-oriented.
  • Be self-motivated and pro-active.
  • Ability to handle high volume of transactions within tightdeadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Positive attitudes and a desire for continuous improvement for selfand the organization.
  • Automotive Experience would be an asset.
  • CDK experience would be an asset.
