About the Role We are looking for a Senior Tester to join our team in Fort St. John, BC. The Senior Tester performs accurate materials testing during aggregate, asphalt, and concrete operations. They ensure all procedures and safety standards are followed, maintain testing equipment, and communicate effectively with field teams. Responsibilities Conduct testing procedures during aggregate production, asphalt concrete pavement production, and field placements of fresh concrete. Ensure accuracy of all testing performed. Display good communication with supervisor, crushing subcontractors, asphalt plant staff, and paving foremen. Ensure compliance with the company’s procedures for sampling, testing, and reporting of test results for materials being constructed. Maintain equipment logs and report incidents or improper working conditions related to lab testing activities. Conduct business with professionalism and respect at all times. Ensure testing activities and operations comply with Health & Safety regulations. Requirements & Experience Good communication skills (oral & written) and a team player. Accuracy in reporting. Strong mathematical skills. Excellent management skills. Computer literate. Valid driver’s license. Compensation This is a unionized position with an anticipated wage of $37.81/hour. Final compensation will be based on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional Information Must be able to meet all safety requirements including pre-employment drug/alcohol testing.
