This is a temporary 12-month position. Note that this job posting is for a Level 3 Quality Control Inspector. Please refer to applicable level 3 qualifications.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform in-process and final inspection of structural assemblies.Audit Company systems as they relate to quality assurance.Assist in training, directing and supervising junior employees.Perform calibration of measuring and processing equipment.Ensure all products, processes and services comply with applicable airworthiness, Employer or customer quality requirements.Provide assistance in quality review of Engineering Masters.Knowledge of process specifications and materials.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, perform measurement/testing of products, tools and processes and record results.Perform in-process and final inspection of detail parts and minor assemblies.Prepare all paper records and certificates.Work safely and efficiently with minimal supervision.Maintain a clean work area and alert Supervisor of any safety concerns.Any other work assigned.QualificationsRelevant manufacturing and quality experience combined with education in areas of either quality, manufacturing or engineering.Able to troubleshoot and problem solve.At De Havilland Aircraft of Canada (DHC), we are committed to protecting our people, customers, shareholders and the public through Health & Safety Excellence.
