Certified Health Care Aide in Northwest - Mandarin / Cantonese Speaking Qualicare Edmonton Northwest is looking for compassionate, caring, and reliable Health Care Aide Caregivers to join our home care team. The Health Care Aide provides personal care services under the supervision of the Care Coordinator to meet the client’s needs. Job Summary The Health Care Aide is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs. Responsibilities Assistance with personal care and hygiene Meal Preparation Light Housekeeping Accompany clients on outings Shopping and errands Medication Assist/ Reminders Ambulation and transporting of clients Provide companionship to clients Ability to follow care-plan Documentation/Charting Qualifications Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student) and Alberta HCA Directory #.
