FP&A Architect (SAP Analytics Cloud – SAC Planning) at Syntax Location: Thornhill, ON, CanadaFunctional Area: Hybrid Overview Syntax is a leading Managed Cloud Provider for Mission Critical Enterprise Applications. We seek an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning FP&A Architect to design, implement, and optimize SAC Planning solutions that align with client business needs. Key Responsibilities Design end‑to‑end SAC Planning solutions tailored to complex FP&A requirements. Develop scalable architecture frameworks that align with client business processes and industry best practices. Ensure seamless integration of SAC with SAP systems (S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere) and third‑party platforms. Lead workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical designs. Provide strategic guidance on forecast modeling, budget planning, and scenario analysis. Oversee implementation of SAC Planning solutions, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost‑effectiveness. Identify and resolve architectural challenges during project execution. Act as trusted advisor to clients, delivering recommendations, presentations, and technical demonstrations. Stay updated on SAC Planning enhancements and emerging trends, driving innovation and mentoring junior team members. Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience architecting and implementing SAC Planning solutions with advanced planning models, data actions, multi actions, reporting, and data integration. Strong knowledge of FP&A processes: financial modeling, scenario planning, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis. Experience with SAP systems: S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere (plus related platforms). Knowledge of BPC Planning, BPC Consolidation, and SAP Group Reporting is a plus. Architectural mindset: design scalable, modular, reusable architectures. Excellent communication and presentation skills; strong collaboration skills; leadership capability to mentor team members. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field. SAP certifications in Analytics Cloud or related domains are highly desirable.
